Spring Flowers Class

Photos from our Spring Flowers class that took place at our studio last night. We worked with hyacinths, French ranunculus, tulips, wax flowers, white Cherry blossom branches, and dianthus green. Anastasia and I had so much fun with each participant, sharing our flower care tips and tricks to kick off the night! It was so great to see all the beautiful arrangements from last night. Happy Spring!

A Bliss Feature!

How fresh is the new Bliss Celebrations Guide this year? I love the color combinations florals and ombre cake design. Please make sure to pick up a copy. Among many amazing featured events, you will find two events we designed the flowers for you.

No real surprise here on why Dira and Hammad’s wedding is featured in Bliss this year. Everything single detail was polished to the T in the ultra modern Institute of Contemporary Art. Dira and Hammad love flowers and used each space in the museum as an opportunity to create their own special moments for their wedding. Among many favorites, phalanopsis orchids took the stage as a central flower used in every room of their wedding.

The feature below is of a rehearsal dinner on the Rooftop at the Taj Boston. This event sparkled with jewels and crystals, a lovely pairing for the white, green, blush and earthy tones used for flowers. Dendrobium orchids, hydrangea, scabiosa pods and green cymbidiums were just some of the flowers used to make this event a timeless city soiree.

Opening of Orly Khon Floral Boutique

Now that we have a minute, we want to fully share the exciting news going on around Boston. You may have noticed the production going on yesterday between Boylston and Newbury Street on Berkeley. Once you see the space you will fall in love!

Orly Khon has launched a new brand, Orly Khon Floral Boutique, in partnership with Restoration Hardware. The new RH Boston store will open it’s doors very soon in downtown Boston, and you will need to check out our space within the store.

Don’t worry, absolutely nothing has changed with Tangerine Creations and Blooms to Doors. We are still working on our beautiful floral creations for events, weddings, and regular flower deliveries in our South End location. We are so excited about this new venture and cannot wait to share it with you as soon as the doors open.

Happy New Year!

We have to say that 2012 was a very good year to us. In 2012, we were happy to move to a fabulous new studio in the South End of Boston, update our website for a fresh and fabulous look, win the Improper Bostonian’s Best Florist of 2012 Award and The Knot’s 2013 Best of Weddings Pick, features in countless publications and blogs, launch the Tangerine Creations Flower School, and design flowers for many events, homes, and offices. We are so grateful for all the love and very happy to welcome the New Year with you!
